Location

Lübeck Airport is ideally situated:

• 7 km south of the centre of the Hanseatic city of Lübeck in Schleswig-Holstein, Northern Germany
• 60 km north east of Hamburg, Germany's second largest city.

The airport is right next to the A20 motorway (Lübeck-Rostock) and have its own motorway exit Lübeck - Süd (approx. 1500m distance from the terminal). The travelling time to Hamburg city by car is approx. 35 minutes; the travelling time to Lübeck city centre is approx. 10 minutes (via B207).

Lübeck airport is an attractive alternative to Hamburg airport in every respect.

The Lübeck-Lüneburg railway line, with its direct connection to Kiel, state capital of Schleswig-Holstein, and connection to the Hamburg/Berlin express trains, is not far from the airport terminal (approx. 300 m). The train stop makes the airport even more accessible by public transport.
